Our walking tour offers you a general overview of this magical town. We meet at Park 31st March just between the central kiosk and the ancient city hall. You will be able to recognise our guides because they will be with a very visible pink umbrella and a smile to welcome you. From the meeting point we start to explore different neighbourhoods each one with its own traditions and atmosphere.
History and Culture
From the meeting point we appreciate the City Hall, now an art museum. We discover the different neighborhoods of the city, each of them bearing the name of a colonial church that served as the main parish.
We talk about the different aspects of the local life in San Cristóbal de las Casas and the relations / interactions between the Mayan heritage and the Spanish Catholic traditions
